Chris Haedrich

Public Relations

Chris graduated from Foothill High School in 2000, and went on to graduate from University of California, Santa Barbara in 2004. During his time at UCSB, Chris spent one year studying abroad in Italy, which helped him decide to major in global studies with an emphasis in socio-economics and politics. After traveling throughout Southeast Asia and India, Chris came back to the North State to learn more about commercial real estate and development.

Since 2005, he’s made his career with Haedrich & Co., Inc. as an independent contractor, and now, is part owner. Chris co-founded Catalyst Redding Young Professionals, a 501c(3) non-profit organization, and facilitated the growth of the group to more than 450 participants. While leading the organization, Chris was instrumental in planning and organizing local events such as the Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour, TEDxRedding and Redding Beer Week. In 2011, Catalyst was recognized as the Non-Profit of the Year by the Downtown Redding Business Association.

Chris currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Greater Redding Chamber of Commerce where he is the chairman of the Communications Committee and a member of the Executive Committee. He is on the board of One Safe Place, formerly the Shasta Women’s Refuge, and Family Justice Center, where he sits on the Finance Committee. Chris also chairs the Walk-A-Mile in Her Shoes fundraiser. He is still on the board of Catalyst Redding Young Professionals, and just finished his role as secretary and board member for Redding East Rotary.

When not working or volunteering in the community, Chris loves to spend time with his wife, fly fish around the North State and travel.
