Lea Tate

Campaign Manager

Dr. Lea Tate was raised in Anderson, California. She graduated from Shasta High School in 1993 and attended University of California, Berkeley where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She attended the California School of Professional Psychology, Fresno where she received her Master of Arts in Psychology and received her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. Dr. Tate works for Department of Veterans Affairs and Patients’ Hospital of Redding, and in private practice.

Mike Dahl

Research and Policy Development

Mike grew up in Redding where he graduated from Shasta High School in 1965. After high school he joined the US Marine Corps and served two tours of duty in Vietnam. Mike earned a master’s degree in Public Administration (MPA) in 1976. He served two terms on the Redding City Council from 1986 to 1994; he was Mayor in 1987 and in 1991. In 2013, Mike started his own business consulting firm, Semper Fi Business Development and Consulting.

Tim Rayl

Marketing Strategist

Tim grew up in Palo Cedro. Upon graduating from Foothill High School in 1995, he earned a BS in Business Administration from University of the Pacific’s Eberhardt School of Business. In January 2006, Tim founded Simple Business Solutions, a consulting firm that helps companies reduce expenses and increase sales.

Josh Divine

Chief Legal Counsel

Josh graduated from Syracuse University College of Law in Syracuse, NY in 2002 with a law degree, and from the University of Utah in 1998 with a bachelor’s degree in political science, history and philosophy. He has lived in Redding for the last eight years and is a partner in the law firm of Reese, Smalley, Wiseman & Schweitzer. He volunteers each month working with low-income residents facing legal problems, but who do not have the means to afford an attorney.

Chris Haedrich

Public Relations

Chris graduated from Foothill High School in 2000, and went on to graduate from University of California, Santa Barbara in 2004. Since 2005, he’s made his career with Haedrich & Co., Inc. as an independent contractor, and now, is part owner. Chris co-founded Catalyst Redding Young Professionals, a 501c(3) non-profit organization, and facilitated the growth of the group to more than 450 participants. He is a board member for many community organizations including Redding East Rotary.

Ryan Denham

Fundraising Co-Chair

Ryan grew up in Redding, graduated from Shasta High School in 1993, then graduated from University of the Pacific in 1997. He moved back to Redding in 2000 to work with his family at their automotive businesses: SJ Denham Chrysler Jeep & Tire Center in Redding, SJ Denham Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram in Mount Shasta and SJ Denham Collision Repair Center in Redding, and Hertz Rentals in Redding and at the Redding Airport. Ryan is a member of Redding West Rotary.

Matt Moseley

Fundraising Co-Chair

Matt is a graduate of Simpson University as well as Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington. He graduated with honors at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Having worked in commercial banking for more than 10 years, Matt is now the Chief Lending Officer for Cornerstone Community Bank. His current civic involvement includes being a Board Member for the Greater Redding Chamber of Commerce and a member of Redding West Rotary.

Brian Seamans

Sign Chair

A native of Redding, Brian graduated from Shasta High School in 1990 and earned a degree in Business Management from UC Davis in 1995. He is a broker with InterWest Insurance Services. Brian is a member of the Rotary Club of Redding, a board member of West Redding Little League and Redding Youth Soccer, and he coaches youth athletic teams.

Matt Briner

Graphic Designer

Matt was born and raised in Redding. After graduating from Enterprise High School in 1999, he earned a BA in Communication Design with an option in Graphic Design from California State University, Chico. Matt has worked as a designer and art director for KMS Haircare, Independent Truck Company and InHouse Marketing Group, and he helped launch Enjoy Magazine in 2006. In 2010, Matt ventured into freelance design and has worked for many companies including international brands.

Bill Speer

Special Projects

Bill was born and raised in Redding. Upon graduating from Enterprise High School in 1998, he attended Shasta Community College. After graduating with a BS in Business Administration from Cal State University, Bakersfield, Bill played one season of semi-professional basketball in Australia. Bill lives in Redding where he works as a Commercial Loan Officer for North Valley Bank. He is also an active member in The Rotary Club of Redding.

Raelene Robles


Raelene is originally from San Jose. She worked for the US Postal Service for 13 years. From 2005 to 2007, she was a partner in Datamate Bookkeeping & Tax Service, Inc. of Gilroy, where she handled the bookkeeping and tax needs of diverse clients such as restaurants, car dealerships, contractors, insurance brokers and non-profit organizations. In 2008, Raelene moved to Redding. She works for Weaver Lumber.

Lane Rickard

Campaign Intern

Lane was raised in Redding and is a 2013 graduate of Shasta High School. He currently attends Shasta College while remaining an active volunteer in the community. He plans to continue his education at UC Davis as a Political Science major. Lane intends to pursue a career in political science.
